I could write a thesis on this but honestly a lot of people don’t “come out” because they see being gay as activism, joining social clubs, protests, gay bars, gay sex, Grindr. If none of that interests them they balance out fake being straight but around people you’re marginally comfortable with to get by.

The way I’d read a thesis on this too hahaha. I find it interesting tbh. I’m very straight passing, but I’m comfortable with who I am.
