Sam Is really absent in the second season and it is felt greatly but each of his appearance proves that he is what makes the whole show work. He makes a few epic rare appearances.

Armand is a massive disappointment. I feel the actor playing him physical appearance does not reflect the powerful ancient vampire Armand in the book. I really did not enjoy his presence on screen. He was really dead in the eyes and flat acting wise. He just did not look the part.

that's too bad to hear. I enjoyed season 1 greatly. Wasn't perfect but it had its moments.
I was excited for season 2, but I'm waiting for amazon to upload it in my country.
Otherwise, I'll watch it online as I did season 1.

I think they should make a whole arc of seasons dedicated to lestat (played by Sam) and his many past lives prior to Louis. How he got the blood of Akasha ( queen and mother of all vampires) in him.
I just want more of Sam as Lestat.

I have watched Sam in another movie called Belle and this man is just beautiful as stunning. He still gives Lestat but without the vampire part.

I liked Louis was OK and i really liked Claudia (new Claudia) but definitely won't miss the dude playing Armand, he was terrible and hard to watch. His acting was not convincing to me. He had zero screen presence.

Hope we have some good flashbacks from what we didnt saw from him. Like, we didnt see he recovering himself from what happened at end of season 1. Would be reeeeeeally nice to see his fully recovery, full body view ‍

Is season 3 a go? I’m hoping that with Netflix acquiring the rights for USA and Amazon for other markets, the series will get a boost in views and get some attention to have a momentum and become a hit.
cause so far, in AMC doesn’t seem that way.
