No my dad was a boxers guy. When I was growing up, I wore tighty whities and then moved into colored briefs and bikini briefs. Finally, in college, I moved to boxers. Funny though, I shared a hotel room with my dad at 22 and was surprised to see he had switched to whities as we got ready for bed.

That’s funny my dad was a bikini briefs guy, so when i started buying my own underwear that’s what tried and loved them. I grew up wearing briefs but always wanted to wear what my dad wore.

My dad always wore colorful bikini briefs. My mom would only buy me tighty whities . When I was in high school (and I was 18), all my friends were also wearing bikini briefs. So I not only went out and bought my own bikini briefs but I also took a couple of my dads. The ones I took from my dad had some crazy patterns in very bright colors. The pattern/colors were so bold, in gym class we wore nylon/polyester shorts and the pattern of the underwear would show through. Those bikinis brought a lot of attention and got a lot of comments.
When I went to college, my dorm roommates both wore boxer briefs. So I bought some to give them a try. I loved the roominess that the bikini briefs didn't have. My second year of college I started to get more brave and started going commando. I really loved feeling everything having room and freedom to hang. I also loved the bulge that showed through my shorts/pants. To this day I prefer going commando, but if I have to wear something, I will either wear a jockstrap or boxer briefs. I don't think I could go back to tighty whities or bikini briefs.

My dad wore the old union suit - like a onesie with a trap door in back. I would never copy his style. It was so civil war.

Commando with a PA is an amazing feeling.
my dad wore white briefs so my mom got the same for me and my brother. I always liked them, but then at a certain point I became really intrigued by jockstraps — I loved the feeling of my exposed butt. I ended up cutting out the backs of a couple of pairs of my briefs and wearing them like that.

Oh YES! I agree. I have a couple of rings that weigh more than the others. I love the feeling of the ring pulling and swinging. It is a great feeling!

my father always wore boxers and my parents always bought me boxers since as young as I can remember and when i started buying my own underwear I always bought boxers but i also like wearing Jockey classic Y fronts under gym clothes at the gym other than that I love wearing boxers
My dad was commando a lot and wore tightie whities outside the house. I wore those when younger then moved to boxer briefs in HS and college. Now i'm commando and wear trunks.

I never saw my Dad wear any underwear as he was raised (along with his 3 brothers) to go commando by their Dad. Mom bought me tighty whities up until I stopped wearing underwear in Junior High school and started going commando full time same as Dad. To this day, I go commando always and I don't own any underwear of any kind.

Yes, I did... White or colored Y-front briefs with modest side panels. My teen sons wear that style too.
