He's not missing anything. He literally came in here told everyone what's up and what he wouldn't do, gave everyone basically a heads up that he wouldn't be making content that most people would want from him. I'm sure he knows that he could absolutely be making bank if he actually posted what everyone wanted, but then expectations would rise and he would have more pressure to perform better and better each time and eventually will burn out. That's how it would be for him at least, being a somewhat known internet personality that already had fans thirsting over him. It's the same as with Markiplier tho on a smaller scale (sorry Scotty but it's the truth LMAO).
Moral of the story he isn't scamming anyone, if anything he's manipulating people which isn't good either but a lot better than just flat out scamming.
