That’s true, it’s no secret that a lot of actors take viagra or anything else that helps them stay „on track“.
I also think that most of the gay for pay straight actors still think when they do their gay porn scenes they will eventually become gay or they think there must be an ounce of gayness in me that I like it … and I feel like (this is just a theory from reading a lot of interviews of straight men doing gay porn) when they start liking what they do, the possibility of the fiction they are filming becoming real is very high. So when they start enjoying things with men they haven’t experienced with their women partners they either stick to it because they are good at separating job and privacy or it actually transcends from fantasy to reality and they get scared to be actually gay in real life to they quit doing porn. It’s actual homophobia that is still very deeply rooted in a lot of straight cis heteronormative men, despite them fucking men or getting a bj or rimming etc. … idk I had to think about this a lot.
i say this because there are also a lot of men who entered as very straight into actually being open and letting their sexuality just flow and whatever happens happens (not only as performers in front of a camera but also as the person who is going home after the shoot as well) Christian Wilde mentioned in a few interviews that it was like him and now he is bisexual or is able to like everyone that porn reall opened up his sexuality and liberated him etc. That I think is so beautiful !
