The crash was right outside the Air Force base where he was stationed. He left behind a wife and two young children. Tragic. I was put in the hospital a couple of years ago by an inattentive driver. Thank god I was wearing a helmet. Fractured my upper arm and a few ribs. It could have been far, far worse.
