Excellent points, @theo_smago . Here's another point: what about guys who are straight for pay? I'm not talking about porn actors, but rather guys who get married and have children simply because society dictates it? The "pay" is the ability to keep a job and interact with the rest of society, getting the benefits allotted to straight men, who are at the top of society's totem pole. Straight for pay used to be the norm in prior generations, and it still exists in some areas to this day. Are these guys actually straight?

  1. Would G4P performers have sex with guys if they weren't paid for it?

i love how both of you have utterly forgotten the existence of bi and pansexuality. yikes!! Not surprised though tbh. But I do agree with @macho8 . We don't need to be concerned about the sexuality of these people at all. its not that serious. We are all entitled to our own opinions, and these people can identify as chickensexual for all I care.

Haven't forgotten about them at all - look at my profile.

I don't think we are entitled to our own opinion about someone's sexual orientation identity. We should respect however someone identifies. We should not reassess them based on the little information we know, and we shouldn't post about it in an online forum.

No, I haven't forgotten about bi and pan, but perhaps you have. The original discussion was about whether or not a straight guy could do gay sex. And my point is that yes, a straight guy not only can but often does, for money.

Totally agree. Who are we to say whether a guy who performs a gay sex act for money is gay, straight, bi, pan, or whatever. We are not mind readers.

Me too. Kurt I know became a personal trainer at some point somewhere out east I believe
When Kurt made a return appearance, he was a lot thicker, too think, IMHO. Mitch also came back for a bareback scene and it really got me worked up.

these are not exclusive. Personal opinions have nothing to do with real life conduct. I will not alter my thoughts in my own head just because of someone else's view. I will respect their identity IRL though. perfectly fine. I don't subscribe to reductionist or essentialist views on sexuality. its not black and white.

then stop saying it. A lot of these guys don't ever come out and say "I'm straight" at all. Folks on here make the assumptions based on their lives outside of porn usually. That is the hetero-normative assumption y'all make often, not me. I said already I don't really care.

Stop saying "it"? What is "it"? All I'm saying is that anyone with determination can fuck a chick or fuck another guy. And getting fucked in the ass requires zero enjoyment. Guys can do any or all of the above for money if not for pleasure. My point is to stop saying that any actor is lying about his own orientation.

How are these men not sex workers? Does every sex worker enjoy their partner? Probably not. But they make their living temporarily or long term this way and if they do it well then great.

I no longer care how they identify. The only issue I have is when they are public about their sex work and also denigrate doing same sex work. Don’t be homophobic or trash having made same sex scenes. I’m not saying you can’t have regrets, but often their comments reek of homophobia.

I do think the producers of content still worship at the thought of “straight” guys going gay. I enjoy that fetish just as much as lots of people do, but I also dig actual out gay and bi men having sex together.

Stop assuming most of them are straight. That's what "it" is. Just a suggestion you don't need to care what I say to be fair. I'm not that important. You are not saying anything I disagree with in the second part of the reply so moving on. Never claimed anyone was lying about anything btw.
