Sean's mom: baby, let's buy this ice cream shop so you can learn the value of work and so you can gain experience operating and running a business

Sean: meh, ok, I can prob get some posts out of this and everybody loves ice cream so its relatable

*less than a year later*

Sean: mommy, I don't wanna work here anymore. My ice cream posts arent popular and running a real business is hard

Sean's mom: okay, sweetie, I'll handle selling it and make sure you incur no losses. just promise me you're going to start thinking more about your future

Sean: meh, okay

oh okay well I hope he continues to work on getting better with it and to answer your question besides his looks I think he's a genuinely nice guy which adds to why I like him.

I hope he keeps working on it too! Sometimes though it seems like he's digging himself a deeper hole. Example: social media is one of the main causes of his depression yet he lives for it.

Just curious, but what makes you think he is genuinely a nice guy?

i think he is the least offending millennial influencer out there.
Sure he uses photoshop but which social media star does not. He was a child model so is used to be touched up in photos.

compared to guys like bryce hall, cameron dalls he is a angel!
I not surprised that he battles with mental health. I wish him the best.
even his non photoshoped pics he is stunning and seems like a nice guy. not heard anyone say otherwise.

Why does it not surprise you?

He has the easiest and most privileged life. Out of school. Money from parents. No actual day-to-day stressful job, all the time in the world, surrounded by family, being able to travel, goes on holidays. Somewhat famous online, relatively private personal life. Girlfriend. Dog. Nice car. Newest gadgets. Sponsordeals. Healthy body. Fit and in shape. Straight. White. Has some brains.

If there is anyone in the world that should not have mental health issues, it's someone like Sean who has everything going for him. 99.9% of the world has more reason to be battling with things like stress, pressure, racism, hate, discrimination, money problems, health issues etc. etc.

I can't think of one thing that could legitimately stress him out to the point it would actually affect his mental health.

I don’t know if you know this but mental health problems afflict people of all social classes. It doesn’t just see someone with privilege and say oh not them they have money

I agree with Jonny Rockets. If anything, those with privileged lives tend to suffer more mentally because they have everything they want and dont know how to use their brainpower. In Sean's case, his depression isn't neurologically based as much as it is environmentally based. He yearns for success but cant define it. He envies the professional paths of his highschool friends but isn't willing to put in the same type of hard work. He wants to live more in the moment but is financially dependent on social media.

Also, some of the things mentioned by tms88 aren't totally accurate. Sean isn't out of school because he never went to school. High school doesnt count. Dont think he has a girlfriend. He's not surrounded by family. Everybody has stress just not the same stress. Sean isn't mature enough to know real life stress but that doesnt make his fantasy life stress any less real to himself, it's just less in our eyes.

Yes, his depression should come as no surprise. As those constantly having to prove how amazing they are are those with the lowest self esteem. I find your conclusion regarding his niceness kind of interesting because I can use the same logic and say, he seems like a mean person. And I havent heard anybody say otherwise. Personally, I dont think sean is mature enough to have had the life experiences to demonstrate he is genuinely a nice person. There's just not enough data because his life experiences are so limited. Normally at 25 it should be easy to discern, but Sean is stuck in limbo at 17

On top of what's already been said, you also have no idea what his personal life is really like. He doesn't show 100% of his life, in fact if I had to guess we probably see barely 20% of it.

You dont know what his friendships are like, his family life, his work load. There are hundreds of thousands of reasons for his mental health, money doesn't always have to be one

Just because he had a trust fund doesn't mean he isn't a human being with emotions and mental health. Sure he can afford to pay his way through most things but you can't pay your mental health to leave you alone.

Ofcourse, you're right, he is a human and he has emotions and of ofcourse we only get a glimpse of his life.

My point is, nobody expects anything from him. Yet he decides to have this persona online. If he's not happy then why would he put up this act that he is? Nobody benefits from him pretending to have it all together. Himself the very least.

If he's actually having mental issues, I really feel for him. I've got things going on myself and I know how it goes.the shame and the feeling you need to pretend you have your life together. I've been there.

I just don't understand why he would put himself in that position when there's no reason to be there. Many people have no choice. They are stuck in the position they've ended up. Obligations, expectations and so forth... Hard to get out and it can be a very downwards spiral.

However, in his case I don't fully understand why it happened. He has no fulltime job he's contracted by to show up. No school to attend. No financial stress. No health issues. No bullying. No discrimination. Nobody tells him.what to post or how to act on social media. He has no true expectations to life up to in day to day life at all.

The only one who controls that is himself..he has full control of everything. He can go where ever he want. Do whatever he want. Post whatever he want. Be friends with who ever he wants.

So if he's a actually in a bad mindset it the moment... For who is he doing it? It's not for the fans. Not for the family. Not for anyone but himself.

He could stop social media all together if that's the source of his problems. get a job in a different area. Go offline. Maybe even go back to school. Go back to acting. Anything..but he didn't, instead he and his mom.sold their ice cream company and he's now more active on social media.

I just don't quite understand his motives and end goal I guess.

people are literally only bitter on here because he has money, he has done nothing wrong. Yall are some trifling shallow B'S...Out of all the fake LA influencers going he is the most genuine and nice guy.
Trifiling? It's a discussion forum. None of us profess to be changing the world. Shallow? Have you read any of the past posts? We're discussing his mental health. Shallow would be focusing only on his looks.

I'll repeat for the folks in the back: everything is relative. If you think Sean has money it's because you're broke. Flight to LA? Inexpensive. Car drive to VA? Inexpensive. Fancy car? Handed down by his dad. I see nothing to show he has wealth, I only see he has some spending cash. Sean is selling his old clothes again this month per his instagram story. If you think that means he has money, so be it... but you're coming from beneath his economic class so I cannot see things the same way as you.

You do make some good points, it all comes down to relativity.

I mean if I didn't work, I wouldn't be able to pay my mortgage (or rent in his case), own and maintain a brand new car, go on three (3!!) trips in January alone (they might be relatively cheap but come on..), have a brand new iPhone, Macbook Pro, Cameras. Look at his Christmas gifts video and count along and see the amount of money he spended.

He's literally spend more days on holiday in January alone then I have days off from work for the entire year. That's not exaggerated but it's the hard truth.

His lifestyle is just bizarre and he has no valid reason or posting that he needs another holiday (even his mom replied to that being ridiculous) and that he is tired all the time.

Tired from what, Sean? Spending money you didn't work for? If there's any mental health issue he has it has to be guilt. Guilt from his lack of a contribution to society and his local community.

Sorry if I come across harsh. I like Sean and I've been following and supporting him for years. But that being said I'm not a blind fan that defends him for everything. I am just being honest.

Full lips have been in vogue for decades but he's saying it seems popular all of a sudden. And now that everybody wants them he feels confident. Guess that's a result of being so disillusioned, he doesnt even know much about the modeling industry he desperately wants to be a part of.

Why preach self confidence when you photoshop out your own natural features from all your pictures?
