To be honest, this guy was behaving very badly and did a lot of illegal things, no doubt about this. However, when you take the time to read the texts accessible thru the links, it is not very clear for the worst part of criminal allegations : as said by str8upgayporn, he should have risked the death penalty and Florida state at that time dropped apparently most of the criminal charges to finish with fines of several thousands dollars. For a guy with so bad previous reputation ?? Honestly I can’t believe there was solid evidence of child rape against him. Otherwise it would have turned completely differently for him because it is really one of the ultimate atrocity a human can do. And we know that in every country, there is absolutely no mercy from the justice regarding this.

I don't think he did that because of the way he talked about it. He threatened the life of the cop who accused him, hated police. The allegation came based on the fact his daughter had an sti. If you read the online rumor mill there were other people who could have abused her. His ex wife stood by him, which says a lot to me. Cops don't always get it right.

I mean he was openely bisexual since around 2014, he even cheated on his wife with a guy. So I don't think it was sexuality but childhood trauma.
Lots of rebelliousness. I don't usually get defensive for criminality, but it's doesn't seem fair what's been written about him and left to fester all over the internet. He tried to defend himself on social media and made it ten times worse. Twitter is a bin fire sometimes, and was even back then. I think he opened himself up to the accusations by being an asshole. Seemed like everyone wanted to get something on him, gay bloggers especially. He wasn't equipped to deal with it. You can tell by how it ended. He pulled a gun on the cops, probably did not trust them (or anyone) by then.
A person he knew told me (in confidence) that he felt his life was over because of the conviction. He couldn't get a job, couldn't leave the state, and thought the cops were out to get him. If you think he was guilty then I guess you could say it's a cautionary tale and he got what he deserved. But it seems f'd up. I'm apologetic to anyone who I offended by opening the can of worms, but people are going to keep coming across his scenes and wanting to know more! He's a standout.
I tend to agree he seemed pretty comfortable in his sexuality. And I also read about the childhood trauma. Honestly... People have had a lot to say. Too much! It must have been intolerable at the time, the public shaming (without a conviction) for rape and csa - that's some cruel and unusual punishment. They described him as homeless in the news, so he wasn't exactly Epstein. I have to wonder what might have come to light if he'd lived and continued to argue his innocence.
