Senate Staffer Caught Filming Gay Sex Tape In Senate Hearing Room

Yeah. The thing that still shocks me the most about this story is that he worked for Cardin for years, Cardin's staff knew about his social media habits, but they didn't say anything to him about it because they didn't want to be "insensitive" to his lifestyle (or something to that effect). It's like a conservative parody of "woke" democrats. If they had told him to knock it off immediately, or at least to not make it so easy to link his sex content to his real identity, this likely never would have happened.
They could have make a receipts of his violations- but its probably a receipts of shame lol

You think they still together
I don’t think the german dude was anything more than a hookup/fwb type of thing for Aidan. And after all this I’d be surprised if the German was dating the French embassy staffer, unless they had an open relationship or something.

Ain’t we all in an open relationship or something

What a fucking idiot. Of course conservatives are using this story as outrage bait. This dude just reinforced all the negative stereotypes about gays just because he let his desire for online clout ruin his judgment. So stupid.

His face isn't great and his hairline is about to go, I doubt his porn career will be long lasting.
Conservatives aren't going to stop hating gay men if we all suddenly behave the way they want us to lol

N

Nothing wrong with being a slut hehe
It is when you're doing it on the clock in government buildings. Come on! We're better than this. Being gay doesn't give us a lifetime pass to be raging idiots who disregard all social norms.

Such a foolish argument. "they won't like us anyway so let's just give them more ammunition and justification". Seriously?? Smdh

This is getting kinda serious lol. Capitol Police getting involved..i just hope he doesn't get charged. Ruining your career is enough damage already.

You, and others, have been deceived by a written ( now removed?) misleading @ mkraju tweet which contradicts what the senator actually said in the posted video - which was neither he, nor his office were contacted by the Capitol Police. Again I ask what crime would the former staffer be charged with? Who was the victim of what particular crime?

Here's a breakdown as far as my limited legal knowledge reaches lol... depending on the outcome of the investigation, potential criminal charges could include trespassing, indecent exposure and misuse of public property.

TRESPASSING is on the table even though he had approved access to the room because this was an inappropriate use of the room and he granted access to a foreign national for said misuse.

INDECENT EXPOSURE is on the table even though no one saw them because the charge only requires the POSSIBILITY that you may be seen. Because many senate staffers have access to that room, that possibility was very real (and probably why they got a rush from doing it).

MISUSE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY is on the table but probably hardest to nail down. It requires they find evidence that there was some kind of financial exchange closely related to the event (like people paying to be part of this Telegram group where it was posted or something etc.).

All 3 could feasibly be pressed or they could choose to go lenient and ignore.

As you said, he had access to the room, therefore charge (1) fails. For (2), "indecent exposure", the testimony of in person, at the time of the act, "offended" witness(es) would be needed to proceed with public prosecution of that charge. Number (3) - that's a joke. This whole episode would be a waste of the Police's time.
