I'm definitely a fan of Mike and I appreciate the fact that he's an out and proud professional bodybuilder. However I was disappointed when I subscribed to his OF --- not very exciting

12% of gay bodybuilders seems accurate. Including those who are in the closet. Theres even more fitness gay men. Which could represent about 25%. Most gay men are on the leaner side. Unlike straight men who wants to be the biggest as they can and they looks huge. Gay men have just the right amount of muscles. Thats why muscular gay men looks better.

Bodybuilding = a very straight sport with few gay men.
Fitness physique competition = a straight sport with many gay men.

Muscular straight men = weight 260 pounds or more.
Muscular gay men = weight 210 pounds or less.

Absolutely agree! The straight bodybuilder is always super massive and roided to the extreme. Very few hardcore bodybuilders would identify as gay and it is rare for them to be the size of the straight competitors if there are any at all. On the other hand, many gays are well muscled with more fitness physiques as you say.
