No I was thankfully not forced out, just like no one forced Shawn out. But folks did talk, and made assumptions about my sexuality. When I admitted to being gay others smiled and said, "I/We knew." Like Shawn, I too am no actor.
The resentment you felt from the guys that called you out, wasn't at all about speculating on your sexuality,
it was the fact that they speculated that you're not straight. The feeling of shame wont go away, when even pop stars with enough in the bank to retire, run in fear.
Shawn has no obligation to be or do anything more than he's comfortable doing. But as a member of the public, I too have no obligation to stop my speculation on these celebs.
Thanks for the reminder on the song. I haven't listened till now. I like it, certainly 3rd single vibes. I feel like it will be the highest charting from this album. Give it a listen folks!
