In your opinion, what's his best album. During the Pandemic I listened to his third album "Shawn Mendes" on repeat and besides "Monster" with Justin Bieber and "stitches" I haven't really listened to much else. The self titled album is a great one though.

I've never heard his music. Just those headlines. Not that I even go out of my way to look for celebrity gossip. No, they shove it in your face even when you don't want to see it. *glares at Snapchat in particular*

I met Shawn years ago, I think it was during the Illuminate tour. A friend of mine was working on the sound/lighting team at one of the stadiums, and I snuck in with him for a rehearsal or sound check or something.

He chatted with us for a while, I think he's much more relaxed around chill guys vs. a crowd of screaming girls or paparazzi harassing him.

Nice guy, seemed normal and friendly.

just saw on twitter that the album is doing poorly on spotify and didn't even make it to any spotify charts

Well yeah it’s not like he did a massive album rollout. I don’t even think sent any of the singles except the first one to radio. He didn’t make any talk show appearances or really any public appearances besides 2 and he barely did any interviews it wasn’t exactly set up to be a blockbuster album. I do think that is what’s best for him as being a pop star has clearly had a negative effect on him and just doing low key albums without much fanfare and just focusing on his fanbase is probably where he needs to be and seems to be where he wants to be right now.

Very well said! Also, too, I think he’s so far in his career that he’s already accomplished so much in his career thus far that he doesn’t really have anything else he needs to prove. I totally agree that his focus is on his fan base and is where he needs to be and seems to be right now.
