ok can someone explain this to me? I see guys doing that all the time...\ just wearing regular cotton boxer briefs or briefs under their swim suits. Why do this?

Wet cotton seems like it would be incredibly uncomfortable. I guess I could see wearing a speedo or trunks, or under amour that would dry faster, under regular swim shorts but why underwear.

I think it’s because many guys wear swimsuits & gymshorts as regular shorts, but sometimes don’t want to let their junk be on display thru the day (no liners), so they’ll wear something underneath. Briefs guys wear briefs underneath, boxer guys wear boxers. And sometimes they take an impromptu dive into the water, and you get that double layer

Not sure who needs to hear this but guys I'm totally ok with your junk being on display through your shorts or at least swap your cotton undies for some under armour or nike pro gear

Is it common to wear swim suits without liners? I've always worn one with a liner, since I was a kid
