This must be a dream come true for Camila, having Shawn trapped with her all this time. She keeps trying to sneak him in to social media posts, and interviews and leaves comments like “Shawn and I...” everywhere. Hard enough to imagine them intimate, but harder still knowing they’re the next bedroom over from Camila’s parents.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but my celebrity crush doesn’t have to be gay every single time. Kinda silly to require that to be part of it, especially when the majority of population is heterosexual. It really is unrealistic to want everyone to be gay or expect them to be. In my opinion anyways.

Also, haven’t we all agreed to try and keep this thread positive? Why do we need the constant negativity of Shawn. Let’s just keep it happy about his body or occasional bulge or what have you else

If he was dating someone with an interesting personality, someone edgy or literally anyone with actual chemistry... that would at least be something... this just feels like watching your closeted (but everyone knows) cousin show up to thanksgiving randomly one year with his “girlfriend” and everyone has to awkwardly ask polite questions all night and hear answers like “we’ve actually been besties since 9th grade, but only just recently decided it was the right time to become romantic” ... “can you imagine we’ve been soulmates this entire time and never knew it”.... meanwhile your grandmas nodding politely and uncle is whispering ‘horseshit’ under his breath.

And if he is gay/bi but convinced he can control those urges and forces himself to date then he’s in for the long haul of years of speculation and denial (the Rickey Martin route) and that just sounds tedious and again unappealing. Also, if he continues down this hippie granola namaste vegan path where people have to wonder when he last took a shower... well, eww.

Yes to all of that. It doesn't matter if he's gay or not, but this Camila clownery is a huge turn off. I don't know what's worse: weather he's gay and has a terrible choice of a beard or he's actually straight and has a terrible choice of a girlfriend.

This is a very sad reality. I know myself and many other fans wouldn’t lose any of our current interest. But I know a lot of casual fans probably would. Probably a lot of the “COME OUT ALREADY” group would definitely lose interest and still use he fact it took him time to come out as a way to attack him.
