It’s more or less not about Shawn but this is a prevalent issue in the gay community forcing the gay narrative on anyone who doesn’t fit their fantasy of a straight man. It is ironic in the fact people wouldn’t react the same way if he said he was a woman for me. There’s a double standard when it comes to men defining their own sexuality meanwhile people can define their gender however they like. If Shawn came out as gay it would be just absurd for people to say he’s actually a straight man and those comments would be homophobic.

It’s 2022. If ppl think you are gay, its harmless. I think Harry Styles has handled the gay rumors well. He is nit uptight about it which is so nice to see. I would tell Shawn take a page from Harry.

I'm not going to lie, the Ricky Martin theory was what I was thinking. When the teen/early 20's fanbase have grown up in 10 to 15 years & they are still fans, but not fantasising about "oh he's so beautiful, I love him, I'm going to marry him".Maybe in his 40's, when he will no longer be relevant as RICKY MARTIN. Americans underestimate Ricky Martin and his power/fans. He is HUGE with the Latinx community and we have a high level of respect for him. Even the straight Latin males work with him.
Shawn is likely straight, will get married and have kids and will fade. Which is sad because it's not really his fault people want him to be gay.

His shadows bestie Brian is in Toronto and boy toy Connor as expected looks like he’s in Palm Springs for Coachella… looks too like Connor is suffering a bit from the separation given his hand placement…
