I remember years ago when actor Colton Haynes came out as gay.
I was intrigued and kinda shocked but it later turned to resentment because I found
myself not agreeing with who he chose to date (yeah, how cunty of me right?). Well I later
discovered that I wasn’t the only one. Many of his gay fans seemingly soured to Colton after he came out.
Based on comments on DataLounge and Queerty people seemed to believe he was an attention whore.
So my question is; do you see yourself critiquing Shawn’s “gay relationships” or losing interest if he came out?

RuPaul talked about George Michael and the stigma of gay audience that it was the biggest when he was closeted (in bed with Joan Rivers, interview). Being in closet George appealed to gays but to women too, just like Luther Vandross. That could be the case.

The the no-fun righteous indignation brigade came out of the woodwork to declare the thread toxic because of off-handed insinuations that Camila isn’t the prettiest princess in the room (never mind they never mention a peep if someone says Shawn doesn’t look his best lately or when Camila’s racist remarks we’re making news)... basically humorless trolls (probably from the same IP) caused a ruckus and one of the moderators shut it down without even issuing a warning.

Mr. LPSG would probably restore it if enough people approached him, but I almost wonder what’s the point... some people in this forum just want to suck the life and fun out of every thread.

The thread was toxic, not just teasing Camila, who in their right mind continues 700 pages (100 were cleaned) of "discussions" from continued gay jokes, or closeted, bottoming joking. Light teasing is one thing, but that wasn't light. Fixation on this guy is almost psychotic.

A) everyone on the planet is supposedly a closet case
B) the rampant jealousy, body shaming and misogyny at the girlfriends/wives of anyone Queen's think is gay.
C) reinforced stereotypes that because someone acts a certain way they must be gay but scream bloody murder about discrimination if heteros use the same logic.
D) if said person was gay, the Queen's would no longer find them attractive and find a new much younger guy than themselves to claim is secretly gay in their wank fantasy's.
