I just hope that when he does come out and he will eventually as a last resort to save his fledging career, that he does not unleash Shawna and go all out over compensating for all the years he's repressed, and then turn into a raging queen like what Sam Smith turned into. .. chances are high I'm afraid given the comments he's slipped out over the years -"it's giving cher", "oh heeeyyy people".

Sure, but where they pop stars or rock stars, classic rock, rap, R&B, etc? Shawn is serving albums full of the ballads that a normal pop boy would throw on an album to round out the product. Don't forget about Justin Timberlake, who dances.

But to your point, the other male artists relied on strong beats and lyrics. Shawn's hippy album lacks both. Now that his looks have matured, and he's spent too much time in the sun, mixed with questionable styling choices, he can't just fall back on being the tall cute guy, like he used too.

Apple's new iPhone is flopping hard. Even the world's largest company can't afford to always do what they want at the expense of market demands if they want to remain popular and profitable. Lean into pop Shawn, hell give us a Cher style track, we know you want to.

And I'm not expecting him to pull a Britney, but at least give us a song worthy of a club mix when we are out on a Friday night and a song worthy of hiring back up dancers for his concert.

But if he won't listen to his own label, I know he wont listen to posters on LPSG, even though we know he's the type to lurk on here.
