So, I've been trying out a few branches of my gym and it seems that I've developed a bit of a habit of wanking off in the showers after a workout

The trouble is finding the right balance of getting myself off and not freaking people out. I figure the sound of the water will cover my heavy breathing for the most part (maybe the person in the next stall would overhear, if it's occupied), and once of twice I've gripped the top of the partition to get a good stance.

Basically,what would be too weird for you? If you heard some heavy breathing from the next stall would you be weirded out, or would you be cool with letting them get on with it?

Good point, I should have clarified that it's purely a solo activity I appreciate a compliment as much as the next person, but this is really about me getting myself off without flashing the rest of the locker room.

I assume these stalls are quite private, in which case I wouldn't mind at all. I'd go as far as saying I wouldn't mind even if I saw the actual wanking as long as you keep it to yourself and clean up afterwards. If I became aware you were doing it, it would I not be a problem - like a couple of others I would feel an invite would have been nice, but respect the idea that sometimes you just want to be alone in a semi-public place wanking. For those of you being werided out by this, you might want to frame this in some actually scientific context.

After a heavy gym workout, hormone levels tend to increase especially the hormones testosterone and the many types of endorphins. With the endorphins functioning to bind with opiate receptors that are found mainly in the brain, it means after a heavy workout, they make you feel great and more often then not, combine to leave a guy feeling very frisky and horny after a workout.

The principal function of endorphins you have to remember, is to inhibit the transmission of pain signals (hence why your body is producing them after a strenuous workout in the first place) but the side effect of that is that of the short term feeling of euphoria (and the subsequent altered mental state as well).

The effect's duration varies from individual to individual, but no doubt londonDood notices the effects after the gym workout. I can't blame him for wanting to indulge on what his body's hormones are influencing him to do and the euphoria is influencing his judgement a bit as well.

This happened a lot in my old gym in London. The stalls don't have doors. Actually, it was mostly guys looking at each other wanking; not much partner action as far as I could see.
