Size Studies Underestimate Penis Size

At the risk of sounding like a crazy conspiracy theorist...
I think these studies purposely reported smaller sizes as the average. If they actually reported 6-7 inches as the real average, anyone smaller would be self-conscious and filled with penis envy.
On the other hand, by reporting a 5 inch average, most folks would feel decent about themselves.
There's absolutely no benefit of reporting a higher number.

Surely they OVERESTIMATE penis size?

1) The studies which have people self reporting sizes are obviously all going to be people rounding up

2) The studies where a researcher has measured the size will most likely only have men consenting who are fairly sure they arent small, whether or not they are actually small or not. Specifically, it will have more men coming forward to participate who are fairly sure they are NOT small and bigger than average.

Whether or not stretched length corresponds to erect length is another issue as the above two issues will still influence the readings.

Im kind of inclined to believe this. Im BP 7" x5" so supposedly over an inch longer than most of those studies claim to be average. Based on actual real life experiences and observations I haven't seen anything to indicate its anything better than average. Some experiences led me to believe I was below average.

I know a good portion of these studies claim to be bone pressed measurements but something just isnt adding up.

Not sure if I interpreted the context of your post correctly and dont understand your humor in this, but here goes.

Why I assumed that is because many here tend to believe NBP is the only valid measurement. Plus he does have some pics and looks significantly larger than me and definitely could be 7.5" NBP.

But speaking of funny. I do find it funny when guys with huge dicks seem to always be in the" dont worry about your size you can just use your fingers or get good at oral" camp. I imagine its pretty easy to be in that camp when there's virtually no chance any women would be displeased with their size.

Please check for example the 8 inch measured thread. It would be extremely easy to flood that thread with pictures if 7 inches is about average. Yet there are maybe only 10 valid measurements in 106 pages showing a penis of 8 inch or longer. On a site dedicated to large penises ..

Or simply just pick some valid study from the list to compare to on CalcSD

Unless you carry a ruler and measure each guy you hook up with, these “subjective estimates” for each of these hundreds of encounters are not valid.
