replacing some letters with numbers or symbols isn't advised either, since someone can easily replace it themselves (and even google does this on their searches, putting wildcards on them in order to increase the matching results)
also, be aware of embedding links, since some websites add the referer/source when opening them (yt is an example, u can see on the redirect URL)
