They just weren’t willing to accept it. Many have a lot of insecurities and mental health issues and constantly deal with internalized phobias and misandry. Many are ignorant when it comes to dimensions and the spectrum. The ultimate problem is that there’s still too much weight put on sex and identities. I’m not at all surprised. Everyone does have their own sexual dimensions and journey and experiences or non-experiences with fluidity, and the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum is wide and varied. While his persona and videos very much lean into “masc bro”. Despite all the gay shit he does, he still gives off forced masculinity, gay insecurities, desire for “straight” privilege. He seems like the exact kind of guy who’d hype up “bi pride” and constantly talk about his girlfriend and present his queerness as just about sex and profit.
