It seems to me that the situation with the std has affected him. He seems to be an “unhealthy” actor now. And that he has to appear in these more niche sites.
IMO I think it's because he's just trying to make money wherever he can right now and he's probably gotten "desperate" and will shoot for any studio that will pay him money. Keep in mind that he's gotten some very bad publicity fairly recently (with the controversial father/son roleplay OF post in addition to the STD situation), and studios like MEN and Helix (whom he previously did many shoots for) probably don't want to work with him anymore.
On top of that, his original OF account (with like 200+ videos) that he had for years got banned following that father/son roleplay scene with Ace Carter and he ended up starting over from scratch with a new OF account earlier this year. I just checked and his newly created OF acccount only has 36 videos and about half the amount of fans that he had with his original OF account. So the way I see things, his source of income from OF has basically been cut in half (given that he has about half the amount of fans now).
So if OF and studio shoots are his primary sources of income, then I'd venture to guess that he's just trying to get new studio work whenever and wherever he can, so that he can continue to make a living doing porn. That's just my two cents' worth.
Not so much the std situation but most definitely it was the Ace Carter scandal. It went viral and not in a good way, like people were tearing them apart on twitter and tiktok. I’m guessing a lot of companies decided to distance themselves from him even tho most of those companies were doing the same type of scenes so it’s very hypocritical of them.
