For a society to peacefully exist, there are various tenants that are enforced. Of these rules, not killing is prominent.
Yet, for despicable reasons, many have the assumption peace is obtained through violence and death.
I realize foreign interactions can be highly complicated; nevertheless, as often is the case, violence followed from years of neglecting peaceful interactions is met with surprise and followed by more violence.
