I've been told that he has a short-term visa (a few months) that allows him to travel to the Schengen area.
I haven't heard anything about a Mexican passport.
Perhaps the first question should be what is his legal status in Mexico (?) . As a Russian national, he's required to have a visa to stay more than 3 months in Mexico. At this point, he's been in Mexico for.. two years?? He may be married now (and hence became a Mexican national), or have a refugee status or a permanent resident visa. If he's traveling often to the US or Europe, the first option is highly probable.
A very relevant question: what is his legal status in Mexico.
He has been living in Mexico continuously for over 2 years. He is not married and does not hold Mexican citizenship. And he got a short-term visa for travelling to the Schengen area in Europe.
He can go to USA whenever he wants.
I don't understand why people are obsessing about someone's private life. Please explain it to me.
Everyone who follows Stepan's page here is crazy about his physical appearance. But of course, the person himself, his actions and words are also of interest. We have all been able to read that on the previous pages. And in this case, the fact that he has had to leave his homeland and live abroad for a long time.
The kind of travel rights he has been granted perhaps speaks more generally about how Russians are treated in different parts of the world at the moment, when Putin kills innocent people in Ukraine. So it's not just about Stepan. He is just a perfect example of this.

Speaking of speculating, I speculate that some people don't have a life and if they get one maybe they will spend less time speculation about other people. Now that's Wild! lol
