The boyfriend's cute. Orlando is... not, but I applaud him for getting more representation into the comics (as well as more beefcake!) and normalizing gay couples rather than treating them as tragic object lessons or punchlines. He even managed to redeem that Extraño character from back in the 80s, which is no small feat.
