My hunch is he didn't like Hollywood and what he saw/was exposed to. Or maybe some of it led him to step away from the limelight and kinda fall into comfort and a more lax lifestyle. He's pretty much done a complete 180 career wise and appearance wise (not saying he is ugly but he isn't chiseled or stereotypically "fit" anymore).

I've realized now too that he was the OG Jacob Elordi. Totally looks like him.

He likes Hollywood and being a star, but the whole Titans fiasco damaged him. Honestly I think he fell into some sort of mild depression. He really wanted the role and campaigned hard for it. He even made a comment on a post on Instagram about how he was "tired of kissing ass only to have the role go to someone because of their looks". Of course this is ironic since he's only being casted in roles due to his looks and last name.

I hope he makes a comeback. And due to his family name he will have no issue getting a role. Maybe it's not the role he wants, but he always have opportunities in Hollywood.

What is the relevance of his family name? Curious.
 
Damn, he had all that nepo power on his side and still couldn't make it in Hollywood. What happened? Is he a really bad actor (not that that has ever stopped people from making it)? Or did he get blacklisted?

Well you are also competing against other nepos as well :)

Not blacklisted. The Chicago Fire producers had nothing but good things to say about Steven. He only left the show due to his character's story coming to an end. I think with Steven. He is just taking a break from Hollywood for a bit (last project was released in 2020). He can pretty much come back anytime and immediately get face time with a producer about a project. So no issue with that.

Again, hopefully he gets the urge to make a comeback (and film a proper nude scene :) ). But if not, as long as he is happy. I'm good with his decision.
