Since it seems pretty obvious that you aren't a gym rat, there's another reason that he's interested in hanging out with you. Maybe he thinks you're cute. I've often invited guys who are less fit than I am to work out with me. Muscular guys don't necessarily want to date a mirror image of themselves. Or maybe he thinks you have a good frame, and would make a great transformation from dud to stud. But that still wouldn't explain why he would bother if he wasn't interested. Most likely, he just likes hanging out with you and this is his approach to getting some one-on-one time. Either way, putting down the chocolate and getting in shape while bonding with someone you like is a good thing.
