Just wanted to publicly say my final thoughts, on why I liked him.
I believe that SWELL80 will forever be legendary because of the “way he filmed” “his low resolution / raw technique” & for getting guys to “play with him” is unique.
I wouldn’t like his videos if they were in 4K, high resolution and perfect editing… that would have ruined the moody essence.
Others try to secretly film “straight” guys — but they NEVER have the same energy and dynamic as SWELL80. (I’m NOT saying that filming people without their consent is positive! That’s a different conversation.) I’m saying he had a talent that is undeniable — to make these guys comfortable enough to have “consensual fun”.
He didn’t tie the guys down and gag them etc… He had a few very simple, manipulative conversation styles that were his “art form”. People might say his clients “needed money”… Some needed money yes — but not all. Some guys he was with, really genuinely liked him.
That’s a talent.
Some people will disagree with me!
No matter if you view his videos as positive or negative, you cannot deny…
Manipulating people into doing things that they wouldn’t normally do is a skill, worth a tiny bit of applause.
