Watching him on Black Panther 2 was honestly hotter than any porn Ive ever watched
While I do think he’s hot, I don’t agree with the way he sells himself as “organic, indigenous, relatable talent” because 1) he’s not THAT talented as an actor (and he doesn’t need it for a Marvel role) and 2) he’s not even indigenous, he was born in one of Mexico’s most overpopulated cities and he happens to have the same skin tone as the average John Doe in the streets of Mexico City. This “poder prieto” thing that he tried to push is pure perfomative activism trying to set himself apart from the rest of the latin crowd. The accusations did not help either. He’s just unlikeable on any aspect other than “hotness”.I thought this thread would be filled with chatter about the accusations but no, there are just a few reasonably concerned comments, what I found instead was pages and pages of sad unsecure men trying to gaslight people into thinking that MCU Namor wasn't hyper ultra hot and the whole world wasn't thirsting over him for months lol
Some of you can't really stand that a gym adiction just wont make you more attractive than a natural goodlooking man, uh?
He has not claimed to be indiginous but of indiginous descent and encourages people to learn their background both in and out of their community. Also he got plenty of compliments for his role of Namor. Oh please, in Mexico where 90%+ of the population identifies as Mestizo or doesn’t know/care about their racial background basically anyone can say they’re “indigenous descent”. He can join the line and stop trying to be special. He has not claimed to be indiginous but of indiginous descent and encourages people to learn their background both in and out of their community. You're right, he should stop saying he's a descendant of indigenous peoples and just fully embrace the fact that he's a white man. I mean we all see that he isn't a brown man. If he were to walk into a room, no one would ever clock him as anything other than a white man.Oh please, in Mexico where 90%+ of the population identifies as Mestizo or doesn’t know/care about their racial background basically anyone can say they’re “indigenous descent”. Right?!Im just here for the dick pics

I mean, it's true on many regards. However, the fact that 'Poder Prieto' disbanded while he also has some controversies around does in fact point out he is more performative than true to his motives. I like him as an actor, as the rest when i'm neutral now. And before You come shouting ignorance, i'm mexican and i'm fully aware of the "whitexican" problem in the industry.Your ignorance is embarrassing. There's hardly any Latino actors as dark as him who got to his peak of fame. His darkness, unfortunately, does set him apart because Mexcans / the world prefers lighter skin people. Mexican media uplifts people who look white, and never those with indigenous features like Tenoch's. Look at the cast of any telenovelas if you need proof. The fact that you do not know any of this makes me wonder if you're even Mexican as it's the only thing I can think of to explain your ignorance.
It's clear you're less than smart, and how you speak so confidently when your words carry so much ignorance is disgusting
I'm Filipino and this reminds me a lot of how the entertainment industry works in the Philippines. You are much more likely to get an acting career there if you are part white, light-skinned, and/or are from a Western country. Our telenovelas also have a similar problem where most of the cast is light-skinned and do not represent what the general Filipino population looks like.Your ignorance is embarrassing.
