Let's say a whole bunch of us join @TinyPrincess with a commitment to chip in to increase the "reward" fund. A hundred dollars here, a few hundred there. Pretty soon, it will top $20,000. Maybe $25,000. Who knows how high it might go?

I see the dollar amount and "contest" part of it as a vehicle to carry this:
If you can't do a normal standing measurement with a ruler, from a normal POV, you're not the size you say you are.
Most regular people don't even realize what difference that makes, and when they come here to look up the details of the challenge, hopefully they find that stuff and figure out that the guy in question is actually full of shit. The problem occurs when said guy gets "informed" of the challenge and ends up being the only one from that discussion or site interested enough to come and read the details, then he simply heads back (with some new measurement tricks under his belt) and reports on why he "chooses not to participate", then all those saps continue to applaud their penis hero and everyone lives happily ever after.
I think anything over a couple hundred bucks probably would have had the same effect. It's free, it's anonymous, what have you got to lose?
