Today when I left work for the day, while I was walking across the busy, beautiful plaza on the campus of the amazing social services organization that I am fortunate to work for, one of the delicious food venders was broadcasting music. As I walked by, it was Amy Winehouse's song; "Back in Black"... Half way across the plaza, I realized that I was crying!
It has been nearly 10 years since her unfortunate, tragic death, but I am still that affected by her incredible talent, brilliant songs, voice, and her untimely death. Her cause of death is always dryly stated as "alcohol poisoning", when it should actually be "murdered by the paparazzi and her gossipy fans"... So, tonight, I am dedicated to listening to every gorgeous song she wrote and/or sang.
