TBH it's usually because they don't know. Also if it's a private civilian vs any kind of model or porn star, maybe they don't want to have the person get besieged with weird thirsty messages from strangers. I can think of at least two guys who ended up deleting their socials because they were getting bombarded. People have no boundaries.
