The most ridiculous locker room rule

Maybe a good idea would be to just wear a t-shirt in the showers and that way you can say that you are not naked.
You have reminded me of a bit of dialogue from an early Muppet Show:
"The comedian's a bear.
No he's not, he's a-wearing a necktie."

I went to a local county swimming pool, and I noticed a sign in the locker room stating that no nudity is allowed. When I saw that, I initially thought it must be a mistake; perhaps it only applied to the pool area.

After I finished swimming, I took a shower, as I always do after a swim. While I was washing myself, the attendant came in and told me that I could not be naked. I was shocked and quickly put my swimsuit back on.

When I returned to the dry area to change, the attendant reiterated that I could not be naked and that I must change inside the stall.

That's the first time ever in my life that nudity was not allowed in a locker room. Have you seen such rule in a locker room?
You have to be considerate of people who may not yet be fully male and even if they've had surgery, they may not be ready for full nudity, just as women in theirs must recognize that there may be trans women.

That's a crazy rule. I believe most guys, gay, bi or straight, are not that modest. I have no problem problem having a stall for a guy to change clothes inside as an option, but I believe I'm safe is saying it wouldn't get much use. Growing up in the US, I played soccer in middle and high school and baseball in high school and college, so changing clothes and showering with other guys in open locker rooms and showers was the norm.

If people are uncomfortable being naked for whatever reason trans or no then they can use the stalls themselves. It’s ridiculous to force everyone else to accommodate them.

I highly doubt the rule has anything to do with that anyway. It’s probably either to prevent cruising or enough insecure straight boys complained about seeing a butt for two seconds.

I would try to blame it on "insecure straight boys" no more than I'd blame it on a gay dude.
