I mean thirsty posts aside it’s a shame that The Time Travelers Wife was cancelled, Theo showed great range, seeing him go from a smug jerk to vulnerable to aged up. He did a good job as Henry, maybe the show wasn’t written well enough but it had potential, I think he deserved a better female lead than Rose Leslie, I don’t think she carried the show well. Honestly with his American accent he gave me Gregory Peck vibes and Jimmy Stewart vibes especially as the aged up/grey Henry, I never saw him in anything else and just viewed him as an attractive, aloof and private actor but he has leading man quality. I was planning on saying this way back in July when the show got cancelled, shame he didn’t get an Emmy nom. Maybe hopefully Netflix could pick it up. Also I’m happy he is gonna be on The White Lotus also on HBO, hopefully he has a decent role/character worth watching.
I think it was cancelled because he and the female lead didn't have any chemistry. I was so bored with them

Gui is not the body double. He is the scene double, and never filmed in the final shots. Just so Theo was able to act with himself in each necessary scene. All final shots are Theo’s body.
The lack of chemistry ruined the show. I knew it would be cancelled just based on that. They were not compatible at all. Theo usually has good chemistry with his female co-stars, but with this female lead. It just didn't work.
