i think the reason everyone thought they were younger is because of the types of vines/videos they make.
thomas was constantly pretending to be in school, pretending to still be a kid. all because he knew that was a good way to get views, since the kids watching would relate to his content

Well, Thomas was still in college when he started posting vines but that’s already been like 6 or 7 years ago now. He’s also heavily involved in musical theater and so a lot of his content is naturally Disney-themed, which always attracts a younger crowd.
