I'm not disagreeing. Tik Tok isn't for me but I'm not going to say that it has failed to take off like vine. Not with the amount of young kids using it.
i guess i didn't make myself very clear. i didn't mean the platform in terms of users didn't take off. i meant the users in terms of fame didn't take off.
viners became super popular. they basically became the new youtubers. they were getting sponsor deals, they were getting invited to events, they were hanging out with celebrities. and all those viners that were popular became super rich, live in mansions, have sportscars, etc.
and it's not to do with the age of the users. there's plenty of famous internet celebrities that are still kids. so these tiktokers should still be able to reach the level of fame viners did. but for some reason it doesn't seem to be happening
