okay, so shade in return, but why come into his thread to announce this?
Isn’t the entire point of this community to share our opinions? Even if it doesn’t align with yours? Pretty sure I was being respectful

Agreed. There are so many threads why come to one only to talk rubbish about the subject & demean the people in it? Don't people have better things to do like wank :joy:
I didn’t talk rubbish or demean anyone. I was being very respectful of other opinions while expressing my own.

First it wouldn’t be CMBYN, and second, it wouldn’t make sense why every one but Elio is now black. The original was a very special film and had Armie’s fantasy texts during horny role playing had not been leaked the sequel with original cast would have already been made
Are you high right now? Why are you bringing up a now ancient reply, out of context? I haven’t been reading the actual text in this thread for a while but see that it’s become a train wreck: is this in service to that? Full disclosure I *am a little high right now so I can’t tell if I’m missing something.

But to address your points 1) CMBYN can be anything it chooses to be. 2) say Elio by now himself in college takes a work study to a small town in Africa or the Caribbean where *he is the Oliver figure visiting a now black family and falls in love with the son. The new boyfriend helps him get over that traitorous closet case that hurt him, and in a liberating, healing, and ultimately very sexy scene Elio and the new guy call each other by their own names. 3) This too could be something special. 4) Armie has problems; it’s not just normal dirty talk. Best to come to terms with that.

Personally I’d find it pretty gross and distracting if they tried to bring him back for a sequel. As would a lot of people. Even more so when he then dismembers a woman having learned there are no consequences baby.

Forum as a guidelines which basically say: if someone is NOT your cup of tea, no need to visit the thread to announce you don't like them. Just stick the threads whose subjects you enjoy.

I am in tears, I'm laughing so hard. Some of y'all are having actual mental breakdowns over a RUMOR about two strangers! As much as y'all like to convince yourselves that you know these people because you follow them on all their socials and watch all of their interviews, you do not know them! And yet here you all are falling to pieces over the possibility of them dating as if y'all have history together. It's both hilarious and terrifying.robert-downey-jr-god-save-us-all.gif

Hey, we KNOW we don't know him, that's just how parasocial admired/admirers non-relationships work!

I don’t think he’s dating Kylie Jenner. If a celebrity every gets photographed with someone next to them, immediately dating rumors pop up. You can be next to someone just talking that doesn’t mean you’re dating them lol.

Also, they could just be like... fucking. Attractive young people do that, without it necessarily becoming any notable kind of relationship. As you said, gossip sites and tabloids like to treat everything like it's "dating" and... not always.
