Harwood is no idiot. He will know that GB news is on the slide and is hurtling towards spouting populist rhetoric day in, day out. But he's a professional, he'll tow the line and he will continue doing what he's good at. Privately I imagine he will have a lot of reservations about what's happening at the channel. Andrew Neil leaving will have been a bitter blow to him.
He'll be looking for a way out, I'm sure about that. The longer he stays at GB News whilst it heads in its current direction, the more he will damage his reputation. He'll just be surrounded by rampantly right-wing idiots. A year from now I would be highly surprised if Harwood hadn't jumped over to Sky News, or maybe even tried to make a move into politics.
So long as he's still fit AF and shagging his GB News colleague Cameron Walker then that's fine by me!
