So Tom has been signed up for 3 more Spidey movies. I'm not so sure about that cause his recent non-Marvel movies aren't that great and did not do good. If he keeps on playing a superhero then that's all people gonna think he's good at.

I think it's way too premature for us to think that he'll be pigeonholed into the "guy who plays Spiderman". Look at Henry Cavill. Even if he doesn't get the 007 call, he's still already "just Superman". Christian Bale, Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson have had big, illustrous careers before so maybe it's unfair to compare them to Tom, but they have not been seen as "just Batman". In fact Robert is a great example that - if you play your cards right - you can dig yourself out of a Twilight sized hole. KStew, too. I think it's becoming more of a trend to see people outside of their most famous roles.

the difference here is all those actors have had other good projects under their belt. tom on the other hand only has spiderman, all his other live action projects have been flops. if all your projects but one are flops, people are gonna start assuming the one project that does well is the only thing you can do
