Tom holland

Basically the only thing he can say without sounding like a huge asshole when ambushed with that question. Pretty irresponsible of the reporter to ask that of him (and not those who actually make the decisions), simply to manufacture a headline. Doesn't mean anything coming from him though.
exactly.. he cant just say no, people will come after him and call him homophobe or some dumb shit

Queer-baiting is real
It's hardly queer baiting. He says he's open to it and, like others have said, if he said no then he'd have been hunted down and looked like a dick. He's not saying "Oh yeah sure maybe one day Spider-man will be gay" which WOULD be queer-baiting, he's just saying he's open to it, as the actor. He's not the one calling the shots though.

I personally love that he’d even consider it, I get that it’s near impossible because they’re establishing MJ in the MCU however there are ways they can establish him being Pansexual or Bisexual, followed by pulling a Gwen Stacy later down the track on MJ to remove her out of the equation. I mean, it’s not like one movie ago he was totally digging Liz before...you know...Michael Keaton happened.

I’d be down with it only if they could reasonably pull it off (or if they decide to insert Miles films and films later and make him Gay, though I would prefer Tom Holland’s Spider-Man)

Controversial opinion time, but I like his movies better then the Toby Maguire ones.

The Amazing Spider-Man films from a film and script point of view, are terrible. BUT! The chemistry Gwen and Peter had in that was undoubtedly, the cutest damn thing. I think Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man was also pretty fucking cute, he handled it pretty well. For that reason, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland are my favourite Spider-Man’s, I just love their personalities, they’re my type of guys.

From a film-making stand-point however, the Toby Maguire’s trilogy is better than Andrew Garfield’s duology. Especially Spider-Man 2 which is just that good. If I had to rank the films it would be:

Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man - Homecoming
Spider-Man
Spider-Man - Far From Home
The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 3
The Amazing Spider-Man
