Tom holland

He might be too old to star in a remake of that at this point!

Michael York was 34 when it came out, so I'm sure Tom has enough time to play the role, as everyone in Hollywood plays parts at least 10 years younger than they are. Not to mention that we have skin filters and facetuning now, that they couldn't have come up with in their wildest dreams in the 1970s. Bang, another extra 10 years. :joy:

A review is in! Two of the actors have incredible chemistry! Juliet…. And her nurse!

Yikes, what does that say for Tommy’s heterosexualism? Perhaps they should have gone old school and cast a delicate young boy as Juliet and Tom’s manly swagger would be engaged?

‘Romeo and Juliet’ Review: Tom Holland-Led Production Is Hobbled by Director Jamie Lloyd’s Extreme Stylization
Thank God the critics are saying it!

To this day, Holland never convinced in any romantic role, even when these parts were a small piece of the work. It cannot be a shared problem since his other female costars (Zendaya, Bravo, Ridley and now apparently Amewudah-Rivers as well) had easy time playing romance/romance adjacent - either with men and women.

a little closer look at that last post of Tom golfing and bent over....

Just look at how so well defined Tom's "Ass Crack" is.... Oh that gives me so many "Naughty" thoughts about Tom's ass...enjoy your "Naughty Thoughts" about Tom's Ass...

It looks so silly lol

Like he’s not masculine enough to pull it off? Are you from the UK, or outside of there? I think for some of us outside of the UK it can be a fetishistic look, I could easily be blamed for that thinking here.

It’s interesting is it seems to have a lot in common with what is classically referred to as the Caesar haircut. I remember when George Clooney has that style and people who had no prior interest in him seemed to be falling over themselves in regards to him suddenly.

I think Russel Crowe had the same effect coming off Gladiator. I was expecting Paul Mescal to have that effect from the sequel, but with all his media press for other things while filming it, it doesn’t look like they went that way with his hairstyle for the movie. Maybe he plays a more Visigoth character?
