A lot of “queer” males purposely seek out “straight”/confused/closeted dudes. Sometimes it’s because of internalized homophobia and gay resentments. Sometimes it’s about feeing that “straight”/closeted/hetero-leaning men are superior and more worth your attention and adoration. Sometimes it’s just about fetish and paraphiliacs. Sometimes it’s about someone’s gender dimensions, and being with a “straight” guy allows someone to feel more female. Sometimes it’s about getting off on hetero and bi behaviors and feeling that “straight”/hetero-leaning can fulfill that.
This is one of the reasons I have a growing issue with identity politics and how we (especially on social media) use identity and sexual politics. Social media has taken exploitation of identity and sexual politics to a whole ‘nother level. I’ve just accepted that people are gonna do what they want to do, “sexuality” is an individual thing, everyone has their own struggles and journeys, some people experience fluidity or confusions or contradictions, and the gender, romantic, sexual, emotion, relationship spectrum is varied. If everyone viewed things that way it would not allow people to be so messy and exploitative.
It’s obvious Travis has some mental issues, likes to troll and is willing to do basic shit for some clout and views and to keep his basic following satisfied. And it’s especially pathetic considering his age. For anyone that’s not an idiot, it’s apparent that he’s getting friends or hiring dudes just to make out with him. Most of those guys probably aren’t even “straight” identifying, but they’re also willing to do whatever for some clicks, attention and clout.
