Housing is incredibly expensive in LA so roommates are not that uncommon. Especially among actors/artists who do not have regular gigs throughout the year.

very jonathan bennett, who was getting small gigs here and there but the only thing people knew him from was mean girls, which he monetized to the max, despite just being the love interest in it. and also happens to be in hallmark movies, and lived in the closet for many years until finally coming out when revealing his boyfriend.
