First of all, no one doing porn with the studios at that time, when they were condom only, did anything in “one take”. It’s just was not logistically possible to get the needed shots.
A lot of the studios at the time, like Next Door, were even more tedious because they had to pose for stills mimicking the positions they were about to perform. Sometimes they even did it the day before since NDS used to shoot all their scenes for all their sites over a five day week once a month.
It’s why a “guest” would appear on several of the performers sites. It’s also one of the reasons so many performers wanted to work for NDS at the time because where else could they go film 3, 4, or 5 scenes with food, lodging, and transportation paid earn a months pay and have the rest of the month off. It certainly doesn’t work like that now.
So what if they used some mild substances to lower inhibitions and enjoy it more. I I’m not saying they were impaired or too high to function.
