Even as someone who is uncut and has desire to be cut, I respectfully disagree. An adult who wants to be cut should be able to have the procedure just as people are able to have nose jobs or boob jobs, i.e. when not required for a medical reason it becomes cosmetic surgery.

I would not expect socialised healthcare to pay for it, and I also think it should not be performed on babies who are too young to have any idea what is going on. I believe they deserve some autonomy over their own bodies.

I'm uncut and grew up in a society where circumcision wasn't a mainstream practice and most parents do not opt to have their son cut. I'm cut and I don't mind, especially since as a baby you don't even remember the pain nor them doing it to you so I never considered it child abuse, I personally feel it's something parents choose for their child for ease of cleaning more than everything, but I don't think leaving it uncut is really doing anything either. It being understood that there is a big difference between having a certain part of the body that is "underdeveloped" and not having it at all (for example because it has been removed), it must be remembered that a part of uncircumcised men has, however, often from puberty onwards, the glans partially or entirely always uncovered. This without the will of the individual as the foreskin becomes too short compared to the penis. In short, not everyone has, with flaccid penis, a foreskin so long as to cover the whole glans: the degree of coverage is somewhat subjective in adults and can vary a lot.

Then, of course, I repeat it: one thing is to have by nature a foreskin that cannot cover the glans, another is to choose to keep it retracted or to remove it surgically.

Got cut as a young adult and had used him plenty and everything is better, sensation actually improved and it’s more resilient, in the end there’s not a lot of diff, it really is just a piece of skin, this is from someone who has had both

In general I think uncut cocks look prettier, especially the glans. I don't like the contrast that some guys have between the two tones of skin, or how keratinized some glans get. Now, when the cocks are erect it doesn't really matter that much because if the skin is retracted, they look pretty much the same (I mean, all cocks are different, but a cut erect cock can be as pretty as an uncut one). I'll die a firm believer that there's no valid reason to remove someone's foreskin, especially as a baby. I doubt the odor you get only in the Summer in Rio is due to the presence of your foreskin but the sweat from your crotch. Circumcision will not help with that. The head of your dick does not have sweat glans nor does the foreskin. There is no reason for your dick to smell any different under the foreskin during the hot Summer months. Where I live is hot and humid in the Summer and I detect no difference under my foreskin. The area of the crotch does smell more due to sweat.
