Not all in that age group are weird about getting naked - my gym for instance, lots of men get naked, variety of ages, including myself.
Have seen younger guys wrapping a towel but also seen younger guys go fully naked too, so might just be an age thing as you say, with some exceptions.
Def agree on the non Irish - while most of the guys I see in the lockerroom get naked, it's the foreign guys who seem to care the least about getting their kit off.

I’ve been in tons of gyms in the USA. Never see anybody getting dressed or undressed under a towel. My Irish gym just the opposite. I see guys walking into the shower with their underwear on and coming out with different underwear. I see guys walking to the shower stall naked but still putting their underwear on under the towel. There was 1 guy, about 8-10 months ago, nice body, nice cock just standing there naked for a good few minutes on his phone before he got into the shower stall.
