That very likely may be, @MartyR , but having already been a victim of a Russian ransomware attack, in which I lost every single image, video, Word file and Excel file saved on my desktop PC, I'm not willing to take the chance, and certainly won't be giving them my phone number!

And right you are. I don't care about attacks and files, I use a separate computer for that kind of dodgy things which has no files on it and isn't used for any online banking etc, on a separate network. Making a profile, they ask your number to which they send a code by SMS to complete the subscription. The number they send it from was blocked as spam/dangerous by my phone provider...
