I actually just saw Queer this afternoon. Sex scenes were graphic but were definitely simulated. Great movie overall.

Yes Nymphomaniac is digitally done. It is done very well but no mainstream actor in that movie really had sex.
VFX are literally done frame by frame. That's why if you go frame by frame you won't be able to detect it.

It’s from a Brazilian soap opera called Verdades Secretas. The actors are Johnny Massaro and Bruno Montaleone.
There is no unsimulated sex in any of these.
I already put this in the Daniel Craig thread, but I have felt so strongly about this for years now that I have to get this off my chest..
Why do gay men continue to accept these Pg-13 tier gay sex scenes?? But there are many more straight A list actors than gay (at least 'out' gay) and very, very few if any of them have done a scene showing their real erection. Most of Nymphomania were either prosthetic (like the train scene) or stand-ins/fake digitised like Shia' s erection (as far as I know). I still thought it was an arousing if odd film, but mostly fake.
