Very Long Term Relationships

I was watching a sitcom where the married couple is older and the husband is trying to sneak in porn magazines in the house.

Which made me think if you have been in a very long term relationship/marriage. Do you need other outlets to get off? While you may love your significant other do you find sex with the same person routine or old?

My current relationship has gone for 10 years now.

I believe the secret to a lasting relationship is putting the effort into growing and evolving together. This includes sexually.

Because we are so comfortable with each other, we are open to exploring new kinks without fear or shame.

From the male perspective in a hetero sense I think question 1 is overwhelmingly true, but I think the premise of question 2 Is a bit unfair. I think there's a very small percentage of men that would get bored with a female sexual partner if access and enthusiasm were unmitigated. I think projecting complaints of routine or old sex upon the majority of men is a covert way to dispel the truth about how often women's sexual habits change(independent of other contributing factors) once they have gotten the commitment and security they seek.
I was just talking with a coworker about my newfound perspective on "Married with Children" in that Al Bundy was kind of the villain all along in that his situation(as per the average man) was probably an ideal sexual dynamic for a man of the working middle class.

My husband and I have been together for 16 years, and we have been married for 10. There are times when he can be very selfish sexually. He can be quick on the trigger, and once he gets off, he's done. It takes me a while, so I'm often left hanging because he doesn't put any effort into helping me get off. There have been times when I told him to see a fuck buddy because I don't feel like being frustrated over it. I might hook up with someone, or I might not.
